The twin/double room at Happy Valley Homestay is a dream come true for a light sleeper like me. The comfy bed and serene ambiance made it easy for me to doze off. I loved waking up to the beautiful view from the balcony, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch.

I personally found the cable TV in the double room to be unnecessary. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?

We had a such great stay in Darjeeling really close to Siliguri, the town centre and the Happy Valley Tea Estate, zoo/HMI & botanical gardens. Awesome location, next to our main points of interest.

The hospitality at this homestay is absolutely incredible! The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. They even offer special amenities like barbeque, bonfire, and fire chimney in the room. The location is perfect, away from the crowded markets but still within walking distance to attractions like the tea plantation. Highly recommended for a calm and comfortable stay.

They got to see how tea is made and even picked their own tea leaves! It was a unique and educational experience for them.

My wife says that having a playground or play area for the kids would have been great.

The pillows provided were not very comfortable for a good night's sleep.

We stayed at the cozy Happy Valley Homestay for a few days. The homemade food was absolutely delicious and the location, near a tea plantation, gave us stunning views of the valley. The entire family running the place was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The owners and staff were kind and provided us with helpful tips on places to visit. The cleanliness and maintenance of the place were top-notch. The breakfast offered was substantial and excellent. We highly recommend this wonderful homestay!
